Description: Silver toned instrument, A- Main body, B- Neck piece, C-Reed and mouth piece, D- Clamp for reed, E- Mouthpiece cover. A- Consists of keys 25 long with bell portion bending up 14, bell is 5 across. B- 8 long has a cork covering on small end. C- 4 black mouthpiece with reed. D- Reed clamp silver goes around the mouthpiece and tightens with 2 screw clamps. E- Cover, has round hole at top, 1 x 3/4 notch in side, covers mouthpiece to protect reed. - Number on back of instrument 94959 - low pitch marked on back of main body  
History: C melody has been used to play along with piano without transposing. AT one time it was used in bands. It plays only one full step higher than tenor sax, but tones more muffled. It is pleasant when played alone, but does not mix well with the tone qual
