Description: | A: Wooden violin case, 34 1/2 inches long, 9 at wide end, 5 at narrow end, 4 deep, case is purple velvet lined, lid is unfinished, case is mostly 1/2 inch thick, Lid has a leather loop on one end and a small wooden oblong knob to hold the bow in, carrying handle is metal with a small hook above it to latch lid to bottom. History: | Donors father Ray T. Nash played the violin at the Bonnie Belmont in Walhalla and other dances & parties. Ray used his violin in 1914 |
