The Sextant is black in color with silver parts to it. It measures 6 inches in length 4.5 inches wide and 3 inches deep. There are 5 parts to it in the box. On the sextant are instructions. It states Instructions to form Bubble. There is also a knob that states increase bubble. There is a silver plate on the sextant on the side near the bottom. There is a silver piece to it that measures 6.5 inches in length that has a wire attached to it. The box also contains 2 lenses and some paper disc that are kept in a small wooden container. The sextant is kept in a wooden box with black felt on the top and bottom on the inside. On the top of the wooden box is a silver handle. Also on top of the box is a small plate that states "Property Air Forces US Army. Name of article, type, serial number, order number, spec number. The box is kept closed by 2 latches that are silver in color.
