Description: Harold Snyder writes that it was 108 degrees. He mentions that he's glad she's back to work. They sent four men to California but kept him in D.C. He says he doesn't think of writing to her as a duty, but that he does it because he loves to hear from her. He has only used 5 gallons of gas since he got there and wants to take her to a dance and movie. He's going down to the White House to try and get a photo for her.
