Description: Harold Snyder writes about watching Yankees beat Washington, paying $1 to stand the entire afternoon right near the field. Said the 4th was finest display of fireworks he has ever seen. He enjoyed the Army and Navy Bands, and prayers that were offered afterwards. The word "Liberty" was displayed in fire, which took about 20 minutes to burn out. It made him proud to be a citizen of this great country. There is some chance he will be sent to San Francisco, and he pledges to stop by home on the way if that happens.
