Description: Includes photocopies of several sources concerning Roswell P. Bishop. He was the one-armed Congressman from Ludington who partnered with Stearns in Wisconsin and looked after Stearns's interests in Congress. Items include: profile in Livingstone's History of the Republican Party; articles from newspapers (including one by Rose Hawley); one page photocopied from History of Mason County; obituary from Mason County Enterprise; receipt for purchase of property; letter to officers of the Grand Army of the Republic announcing Bishop's death; copy of publication from Ludington, "City of Ludington and Vicinity" from 1895 used to promote Ludington. Many of these items were originally located in the archive at Historic White Pine Village. Copies include handwritten notes in the margins and highlighted sections.
