Includes photocopies of Annual Reports of Agents Working for the Bureau of Indian Affairs various years beginning in 1903-1927. Report covers the La Pointe Agency, in Ashland, Wisconsin where Stearns had a sawmill and lumber operations on the Bad River and Lac du Flambeau Reservations. The primary focus of these reports dealt with timber operations. Reports offer helpful information about other aspects, such as schools, economy, and general life on the reservations. After 1906 there is less information. Entry for 1925 includes report on population of reservations and for 1927 a report on value of Indian individual and tribal property. Copies include handwritten notes in the margins and highlighted sections.
