Description: Includes several photocopied items pertaining to the Kentucky & Tennessee Railway owned by Justus Stearns and an integral part of the Stearns Coal & Lumber Company Empire. Many items are copied from the archive at the McCreary County Museum in Stearns, KY. These are all photocopies. A highlight of items includes: copies of Statement of Monies Expended by Kentucky and Tennessee Railway from 1910-1913; information about the railway's history; Articles of Partnership from 1909; copies of photos with data about expenses; a letter from J.R. Thompson about construction in 1902; articles from journals such as Trains addressing the history of the K&T. Copies include handwritten notes in the margins and highlighted sections.
