Description: Letter from Edwin dated March 17th, 1946. He talks about how hie missed writing a letter this past Saturday as he was on a shopping trip with Dave. He also talks about how he talked to a navy officer about what they could offer and the officer told him that he was too tall to join the navy. He talks to his dad saying that he and everyone else is doing fine and everyone is doing well in school.He also talks about the different classes that he is taking such as philosophy and statistics. The letter is written on thin white paper and has writing on the front and back. The letter is 2 pages long and is written in black ink which has faded to a off green color. The letter also has a logo in the upper left corner of Swarthmore college. The envelope is white with the same colored writing and has a purple stamp on it. Measurements are for the envelope
