Imprinted on the lid: Sengbusch Self Closing Inkstand Co Milwaukee Wis Made in USA Pat Apr 2| 03 Aug 23 04 Jan 15 07. (These years are 1903, 1904, and 1907) Molded in the bottom of the class is No. 57. The accompanying pages explain the inkwell.
