Description: Postcard: black and white photo of W Ludington Ave as it was in 1869. Comment on back: Filer House located in present City Park. Built by James Ludington and later used by Delos L. Filer as a home and community social center. Afterwards a hotel. Foreground shows Main street (Gaylord Ave.) Small path near fence is Ludington Ave. To right is Farrell House, first hotel and shops.
