Steel pick blade on end of a wooden handle. Head is 9 inches long. Thickest part is 4 long by 2 wide - then the steel tapers to a 1/4 inch pick end, slightly hooked. Handle 33 inches long and goes through axe head. Marked on handle end - Lumbering Museum - South -

Pick would be hit into the top edge of a log toward the end in order to drag the log. If the log was to big for one man or two men, a log carrier was used.
