Description: Bea and Billy Walsh were entertainers who visited troops during WWII. They were killed over the Pacific Ocean during a return trip Feb. 5, 1948. Their bodies were never found. Eddie Tallman was the tour manager for their vaudville shows and manager of a theater in Chicago. Joan Burrow's(donors mother of 7128 Park Ave in Pentwater) mother owns a cottage at Pentwater that was built and used by Eddie Tallman. History: The Bass Lake Community donated a plaque which is attached to a stone by a white pine tree near the Chapel. This was given in memory of Bea and Billy Walsh prior to 1991.
