Description: 5-14-1971 the international R 180-50 ton truck with pure clay from the craft and Rasmussen farms at the intersection of the clay haul road and Chauvez roads. The Green Dragon 50-ton Euclid R-50 costing $110,000 the trucks are loaded without stopping. they run 5 days a week, 10 hour shifts. the craft farm is 100 acres-Rasmussen 80-90 acres. the land is stripped ahead of the diggers which are limited to a 50' depth. the clay will be stock piled in case of a break down. a maintainable shed is on the pit site for greasing once per shift. they have a 205 gallon gas tank and use 20 gallons per hour. the huge tires have a tremendous heat build up. the clay pit is lightend for day and night operation - LPSC Box slide # 14-247
