Name of Object: Wedding Dress of Lois Maude (Marson) Hawley  
Description: Wedding dress consisting of 4 parts; A: Plain inner slip - satin elastic waist 5 hem cream colored; B: Outer slip - slightly gathered at waist, snap in back with 8' opening, 37 long, light weight, bottom 9 is of 2 rows of pointed lace with a row of pointed material between; C: Skirt - cream colored satin, 23 waistband, tiny pleats around, front has 3 small pleats, back side of a flat center which go all the way down, lower front has 5 rows of tuck pleats, sides are plain, back slightly longer than front with 5 rows of tuck pleats the full width of the skirt; D: Bodice is satin and lace, 6 rows of small pleats from shoulder top of collapsing puffy sleeve, 6 tiny tucked rows of satin across front, 2 wide lace forms a square neckline, collar and upper bodice are shear material with tiny gathers at base of collar, 2 stand up collar, cumberbun at bottom, sheered to center of back, boning at front and back, 4 columns of tiny tucks both sides of back which closes with hooks and eyes, tiny pearls sewn around sleeve over lap and collar, bobbles hang in front - Box wedding dress - Box 24  
History: Maude was a nurse at U of M Hospital, married Ransom S. Hawley Sr., Dec. 25, 1905
