Name of Object: very old quilt  
Description: 57x68 blocks made of satin and velvet pieces. back is red cotton material. patches sewn together with large x design. back is hand quilted but done seperately from front, as you can't see it from the front. pretty good shape, some patch pieces are worn. - Box-quilts/rugs  
History: quilt belonged to Dr and Mrs Jack Heysett of Hart. They came to Hart in 1931. His parents lived in Ludington. He died in 1948 and Alice lived to be 96 and lived in Pentwater.
