Two handwritten notes by Carl Ohman, relief master of the Badger describing the incident where the Badger had collided with the outer pile cluster at the No. 3 slip in heavy winds, causing damage to the pile cluster. Ohman recorded that the vessel was examined by himself, B. Harrington Chief Engineer, R. Hall Engineer on watch, and J. Turmen Mate on watch, and that there was no apparent damage to the vessel.
