Name of Object: Brown Blouse  
Description: 24 round ball buttons down front, 16" length. Brown satin, ends with points over waist in front. Back length is 17" long with an extended 6" which forms 3 fold pleats on each side of center back, long sleeves, standup collar & 2 1/2" rounded collar, shoulder to shoulder plus lapel on front are a heavy plaid material. Waist is fitted. 2 darts on each side & 5 tucks on each side complete this blouse. Seams are finished with hand stitching. 4 bones on each side - inside. Inside is also a 1 1/2" wide strip going around the waistline & has 2 hook & eye closures for snug fit - Fraser box  
History: Possibly from donors Mother's (Mary Lyons Dibble) trousseau. Possibly Julia Lyons, who was a smaller person than Mary Lyons, according to note with item.
