Name of Object: Surveying Instrument - Leveling Instrument  
Description: Wooden box approx. 20 1/2 long, 10" high, 6" deep. Used in 1960's-70's, slip/lock closure in front. 1 1/4" leather carrying strap is 36" long and 2 screws attach it to side of wooden box. Strap has buckle so lid will open. Long scope, grey beam, have wooden supports in bottom of case hold instrument. Marked on lid of box and bottom of instrument -  
History: Used by Mr. Weinert in his work. He started surveying work with Ken Stephens in 1960. Mr. Weinert was County Surveyor for the past four years
